Please forgive the odd and sort of random post this month. Disposable wipes are not really a passion (three things I love – the wipes edition just sounds wrong ) but I do like these and I actually came up with more than three when I was thinking about it 🤷♀️
The one that started me thinking about this is the wipe for eyelids I only use if I am experiencing blepharitis (eyelid inflammation). They can burn a little but for me they really work. The formula has a modified version of tea tree oil to kill the dermodex mites. 🫣 Check with your doctor to see if these are right for you.
Blepharitis usually does not go away completely. (ugh) You’ll need to follow a routine for cleaning your eyelids for the rest of your life to keep it under control. I use micellar water to cleanse my lids on a daily basis. This helps with dry eye too!
Another ‘wipe’ I use all the time is these face wash cloths which are reuseable. They are soft and work well to get my face clean. I use a cleansing balm then wipe it away with these.
The last one is the most common and is Wet Ones.
I always prefer to wash my hands and other bits with soap and water but you can’t always do that. When I travelled to India in 2010 our retreat host suggested we pack these and use them while we were there. It may be coincidence but I never got sick in any way while I was there for two weeks. Now when I travel, I use them to wipe down surfaces in the plane and the hotel room when I get there.
How about you? got a favourite wipe? Let us know in the comments.
