While travelling in Mexico, there are a few things I really enjoy having.
The first is a good sunscreen! Did you guess this? I’m a redhead after all. This one called Haru Haru Wonder is my new favorite. It is completely colorless, moisturizing and effective. It feels light and airy on the skin and has no fragrance. It does take a while to get to Canada when ordering from this site but it is worth the wait!
The second is a Mexican Sim card. Phone plans in Canada are notoriously expensive – especially for travel plans- and when travelling for an extended time I get a Mexican phone number and sim card. You save a lot on your cell bill and you can re-load if you run out of data here. Here is one from Amazon – you just pop it into your phone (don’t lose your Canadian one) and give your people back home your new (temporary) number!
The third sounds a bit unusual but it is a kettlebell! Yes, I buy a kettlebell once I am here and just leave it or give it away when I go home. They are easy to find at Walmart or Sears and other places down here or you can order one from Amazon or Mercadolibre. It is soooo worth it to me to have a weight to work out with while I am here! They are usually less than $50 ( I buy one that is somewhere between 8 -16 kilos). I never regret staying strong while on vacation!
