Join me in Mexico for a transformative retreat combining strength training and yoga, designed specifically for people over 50.

The Baja California Sur in Mexico is Calling

We are adding another retreat!

March 4-11 2026

You probably know Cabo San Lucas… but have you heard of Todos Santos?

It is about an hour away from the ‘girls gone wild’ madness of Cabo San Lucas but it feels like a different world. Todos Santos is a colourful little town you can explore on foot with great restaurants, cool shops, and a wide-open beach perfect for walking or catching waves. Our retreat accommodations in Todos Santos will be right in the sweet spot—close enough to walk to the beach and just as easy to wander into the town centro. And we’ll have the whole place to ourselves!

Choose a private room or share with a friend — each comes with its own bathroom. The big communal kitchen is sure to be a favourite hangout, perfect for coffee chats, late night laughs and maybe some dance parties. Each morning we’ll start easy with a light continental breakfast and fresh coffee before the day unfolds.

At the heart of it all? A mix of strength training and yoga that’s supportive, fun, and designed to help you feel stronger, looser, and more at home in your body. You’ll head back not just refreshed, but with skills and confidence you can use long after the retreat.

Daily Fitness Schedule

We’ll follow a balanced routine with morning strength training and evening yoga—designed to build resilience, increase flexibility, and help you feel good in your body. Our small gym space has light weights for group training, plus plenty of room for yoga.

This retreat is about exploring what works for you. Everything is optional. We’re not here to break you down—we’re here to build you up. Want to push a little harder? You can. Prefer to take it slow and soak it all in? That works too.

Plenty of time to rest and explore

We will pace the week with plenty of time for long walks, resting, shopping and exploring.

You may like to start the day with a beach walk, then a little breakfast and coffee followed by a training session.

The rest of the day will be yours to explore the town or even take excursions to nearby Cabo San Lucas if you want to.

We will do a restorative class in the evening before bed to relax you and send you off to the best sleep ever.

Accommodations and meals

Our accommodations are rustic-chic, perfectly in tune with the laid-back beach vibe.

Each room is private and secure, with its own bathroom, and some even have outdoor patios for quiet moments in the fresh air.

The heart of the house is a spacious kitchen and dining area where we’ll gather for a simple continental breakfast and fresh coffee each morning. For lunch and dinner, you’ll have plenty of options—explore the many great restaurants in Todos Santos or pick up fresh ingredients from the local markets to prepare easy, communal meals in the kitchen.

Getting there

Getting here is simple. There are non-stop flights from Calgary to San José del Cabo (SJD) almost every day, and we’ve scheduled the retreat to begin on a Wednesday to take advantage of lower midweek fares. You’ll also find connecting flights (often through Denver) that may be a bit cheaper.

From the airport, you can catch a direct bus to Todos Santos, or—if enough people are on the same flights—we can arrange a shared van transfer on the first and last day of the retreat.

When I visited, I took the bus from Cabo San Lucas to Todos Santos and back in the same day—it was easy, affordable, and comfortable.
